Great canal views and relaxing seating areas by the water. The room was large and comfy with a fantastic shower.

The Standard Twin Room offers solid amenities like a large wall-mounted TV and a decent range of tea/coffee facilities, which adds some comfort to the stay. Enjoyable breakfast options included self-service coffee and a hot food menu that allowed customization beyond the usual expectations.
The exterior presents a somewhat shabby image, which isn't reassuring upon arrival. Inside, the room shows signs of neglect. the carpets could’ve used a good vacuuming, and the old towels, though clean, needed an upgrade. Noise from the kitchen starts early in the morning, making for a restless sleep if you're near that area. the heating system, which was meant to keep things cozy, failed miserably, leaving the room chilly and uncomfortable during winter nights.

The stay was decent, particularly because of the room's comfort and cleanliness. the lack of available food options was a letdown, especially after a long day exploring nearby attractions. The location was ideal for reaching Blenheim Palace and other spots in Oxford, but the exterior appearance could use some sprucing up.
